Chutes and Ladders block

 This block is an optical illusion block that makes it look like ribbon wrapping round a column using HST's and rectangles.

 It is by a lovely lady to whom I subscribe on YouTube Brenda @ Conquering Mount Scrapmore who talks to groups for free and offers several FREE blocks each and every week (most which I think are her own designs...) along with some sew alongs in the past.  The video description contains all the cutting instructions.  She definitely deserves more subscribers than she has!
