lilac lane/Spin city - a four patch block

Not sure if this is only name for this block but Lilac lane is the name used by Patchwork Square

This is four of the subunit used in the new album block

To draft the block start with a four patch grid

Draw guidelines in each of the four squares to divide them into four - some of these will be removed later.

For the top left square we want to leave the top right square of the grid you have just drawn - remove the other lines.

For the top right square leave the bottom right square - remove the other lines.

For the bottom right leave the bottom left square - remove the other lines.

For the bottom left square leave the top left square - remove the other lines

Finally add diagonal lines from outside corner to outside corner in both directions.
