Tennessee Waltz quilt blocks- a two block pattern

This is a two block pattern which uses the 54-40 or fight block and a simple snowballed block

This version is by Theresa Downunder

This version is by Beth of My Sewing Room

Squash Blossom block

This one gives South Western USA kind of vibe and there are several variations depending on colour

This is a supersized version made into the sundance baby quilt by Polka Dot Chair

Patchwork Square includes quilt layouts in their offering here

Crafts for Love includes a little bit of history in their webpage as well as instructions here

This version by Carol Thelen arranges the colours slightly differently and has Accuquilt instructions this uses HST's instead of long rows that are snowballed

This block can be based upon a 3x3 grid click here for other 3x3 blocks

Sundance - Free Quilt pattern

This is a baby quilt by polkadotchair.com which showcases one giant block to great effect.  All the fabric amounts and cutting instructions are included in this blog post - and the quilt block in question is the Squash Blossom block.

Chicago Geese Block

 How to describe this one?

A quarter log cabin block with snowballed corners on each level.  You could actually do any number of "rounds" for your own variation but the ones I found all seem to use the same number - why? Who knows!

This one by Fabric 406 is based on a 6x6 grid and has quilt layouts at the end

Another from Wendy

and Carol Thelen did an Acquilt version here

God's Eye Block

 One that looks very complicated!

Flying geese units, square in a square and half square triangles all come together to make this block.

Here is the version by Fabric 406

This block is based upon an 8x8 grid -
